About the Role
Consultant role will interact with a dynamic group of Axioms team members, present to clients in critical business situations, and develop a deep understanding of the life sciences and healthcare industry. This role will be mentored by our Engagement Managers. Furthermore, a person in this role will interact with both clients and teams within Axiom to address critical strategic questions within healthcare project.

Develop client-ready communications to facilitate decision making, communicate status, mitigate risk, or resolve issues
Assist AEM with ensuring deadlines are met and workstreams are completed
Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models
Work closely with an associate engagement management to reduce project risk
Work closely with members of Axiom as well as our clients to quickly establish highly functioning joint project teams
Conduct complex problem-solving through a hypothesis-based approach
Complete primary and secondary research to drive to critical insights
Communicate recommendations to clients to inform strategy and maximize value
Project Leadership
Have a leadership role (or shadow the project leader) on smaller or less complex projects.
Support team’s morale and keeping them motivated during difficult project spots
Ability to run a congress coverage with a team of one analyst
Assist AEM when required with difficult conversations in relation to project members
KOL & Team Relationships
Work directly with clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
Facilitate client workshops focused on future state of the Healthcare Industry, design future state business process and requirements
Support detailed requirements gathering
Lead package evaluations against industry leading practices in the Healthcare Industry
Axiom Investment
Participate in the business development process by assisting AEM in writing of SOWs, proposals, and pricing project
Participate in the practice development process by assisting in the development of tools, methodologies and techniques used by Axiom on client assignments.
Desired Qualifications
Masters’ degree in Life Science or equivalent preferred
3+ years of management consulting or equivalent demonstrated experience supporting life sciences companies and have demonstrated substantial achievements with a proven record of high performance.
Prior experience with US/global pharmaceutical pricing, market access, and commercial strategy
Experience in leading small projects/workstreams and nurturing client relationships
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display excellent judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to hand multiple priorities
Ability to develop a sense of urgency and respond appropriately
Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives
Strong communication skills
Good presentation skills and business development skills; able to assist in selling work to clients
Experience in developing small to medium work plans, project scopes, pricing estimates
Strong project management and leadership skills to manage and drive concurrent small projects for one team
