We are looking for a People & Culture (P&C) Specialist to act as the first point of contact for and HR-related queries from our members and external partners.
With relevant knowledge and experience with HR procedures you should be able to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner and able to ensure our P&C team supports our members while conforming to labor laws.
Job Description
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
Support in develop and maintaining job descriptions
Design and post job advertisement
Agency / vendor management
Maintain recruitment tracker
Supports human resources department by screening applicants
Support in recruitment related projects (e.g. Job Fair)
Sets up and schedules interviewees, obtain feedback and communicate to candidate/vendors
Compensation & Benefits Support
Assist Accounting & Payroll department by providing relevant member information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
Answer members’ queries about P&C / HR-related issues
Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
Process expense forms and claims
Team Members Support
Provides orientation for new members by providing information packets, reviewing company policies, gathering withholding and other payroll information, explaining benefit programs, and obtaining signatures for documents.
Administers member benefit program including loan, medical insurance, and disability programs by advising members of eligibility, providing application information, helping with form completion, verifying submission, and notifying members of approvals.
Visa documentation support
Maintains human resources records for members by recording the hiring, transfer, termination, merit increase dates as well as tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
Update internal databases as and when required (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
P&C Policy Support
Support in revising and maintaining up-to date company policies
Create regular reports and presentations on P&C/HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
Participate in People & Culture / HR projects
Oversee organizations diversity awareness program
Support in administering performance management program
Support on WHS related projects and initiatives
Arrange and coordinate training and development sessions
Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator/Assistant or relevant role
Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
Thorough knowledge of labor laws
Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
BS in Human Resources or relevant field
